Why should you choose granite for your new kitchen work surface?

Granite is formed from magma deep within the Earth’s crust. Due to differences in the mineralogy and chemistry, the colours and patterns vary considerably. This means that you can pick from a range of shades, and that each granite countertop will be unique.

The aesthetics aren’t the only factor to consider. It’s also important to think about the practicality and how much care and maintenance will be involved. We treat the stone with a proprietary sealer in order to reduce any absorption of liquids. This sealer fills any small gaps in the crystals which helps to increase the longevity of your worktop and reduce the risk of staining from spillages.

If you did decide to make any alterations to measurements or specifications further along in the process, then the quote may change. Once a price is agreed and we receive a 50% deposit, the work will commence.
