Seams
In a normal kitchen, granite worktops in Watford will require 2-3 seams. The typical slab size varies depending on the colour of granite you pick. A normal expectation is 9 feet by 5 feet. Large islands may often be completed without seams. If you have an L or U-shaped arrangement, you might expect seams where the worktops slant in opposite directions. The good news is that many fabricators will make custom-coloured epoxy to bind the seams together, which does an excellent job of concealing them. Expect the seam to be around 1/8″ thick.
